David S, sailing from Felixstowe to the Isles of Scilly bought an EcoFlow Delta plus two 160w solar panels and used his new setup to have easy AC power on his sailing boat, a Hallberg Rassy 44.  Rather than fitting an expensive 'marine' inverter to convert DC to AC onboard the boat, David opted for the easier and cheaper option of using an EcoFlow Delta portable powerstation instead.  He found that the new system is cheaper and more convenience, being easier and quicker to charge, and acting as an emergency source of power on his boat if his onboard system suffered any outages.
