This is the new, incredibly rugged and beefy Mantus Bridle and Snubber system, available in three subtly different versions depending on whether it is to be used with deck cleats, or from pad-eyes and shackle points.  The anchor bridle ensures that your anchor has the highest chance of staying put and your boat staying intact.

Choosing The Right Bridle or Snubber For You.

Mantus provides different options depending on your use case. We have simplified the choosing process by answering the following questions.  You can then select your preferred system at the bottom, using the drop-down menus.

Q1: Single-line System or "V-Bridle" system?

For a single line system, the Mantus Snubber is for you.  This is secured to one point on your boat like a cleat or Samson Post.  She snubber line is then sent via the anchor roller down to a chain link, where the Mantus Anchor Hook attaches to the chain.

For two-line systems, each arm of the "V-Bridle" is secured to strong point on the boat, thus making a 'V' to spread the loads.  On a monohull, this can be to two forward cleats, or on a catamaran, this could be two pad-eyes or cleats at the bow or on the insides of the hull, specifically designed for this job.

Q2: To fix to the boat, do you need soft spliced loops, or spliced stainless thimbles, and shackles?

For use on cleats, the spliced soft loops of the Universal Bridle are perfect as these can be looped over the cleats.

For use on pad-eyes or specially designed fixing points, the Catamaran Bridle is the way to go as this terminates in rugged stainless thimbles and shackles.  as an option, you can also choose to upgrade to Liros Dyneema Soft Shackles instead of the stainless shackles, if you fear that these metal shackles might damage or mark the boat's hull.  These are selectable below.

Q4: Do you need a Storage Bag?

It is recommended to have a dedicated ruggedised storage bag for the Mantus Bridle, to stop the hard parts potentially impacting and damaging the boat whilst you move it to the bow or stern of the boat, and around a locker etc.  We provide the Mantus Wet Storage Bag which is ideal for storing your bridle. Made of PVC, it is a UV-resistant bag perfect for storage of your bridle or snubber line. It is also perfect for storing anchor rode, dingy anchor equipment etc. Height 19 inches/48cm open, Base diameter is 11 inches/28cm.
